What's the Vereniging van Registrars all about?

The VvR exists to facilitate development of the domain name industry into one of the leading sectors of the Dutch economy. Our ability to do that stems from our unique status as a pool of knowledge and talent in the field of internet domains. A status founded on the capabilities that exist within our network of affiliated registrars. We believe that our members deserve an outstanding .nl domain and possess the collective drive to realise excellence within the sector. In short, an industry to be proud of!

How does the VvR do that?

Innovation as the driver of performance

The VvR creates a positive setting, within which members are challenged and encouraged to develop innovative solutions. Solutions that have value both for relations with SIDN and for the performance of the domain name sector as a whole.

Harnessing members' talent and skills for growth and improvement
The VvR utilises the unique knowledge and experience of its members to proactively engage with developments at SIDN. Through constructive cooperation, we endeavour to realise enhanced service levels and improved product-price ratios.

What does the VvR do?

The VvR unites the independent registrars associated with the Dutch .nl domain. It is a unique organisation that pools and synergises the strengths of its individual members. The VvR is a unifying force, through which registrars' knowledge of and experience with internet domains is combined and shared. As such, the VvR proactively promotes the interests of its members, enabling them to concentrate on day-to-day operations.
